Symbolism
Badge
The central device of the ostrich feathers encircled by a coronet is a simplified rendition of the heraldic badge of The Prince of Wales. The seven-lobed figure and seven pearls reproduce the perimeter of the Canadian emblem of Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee, celebrating the seven decades of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign.
