The white maple leaf with a red cross was the badge of the Militia Army Medical Staff Service from 1899. Green is a colour found in the badges of the Medical Services School and the Dental Services School, of which the Canadian Forces Health Services Training Centre is the successor.
Motto
This Latin phrase means “In unity is strength.”
