Badge
The wrench and lightning flash represent respectively the technical knowledge and the engineering experience of the technologists in their work on the land equipment of the Canadian Armed Forces. The teeth on the exterior rim of the ring represent the cogs of a gear, alluding to the precise and intricate work done by the technologists, crucial to the smooth running of any military operation. The gaps on the inside rim represent the rifling of a barrel, referring to the weapons maintained by the technologists.
