Symbolism

Arms

The Canadian Heraldic Authority does not have confirmed symbolism for this emblem. The following comments are hypotheses only. The wheels could allude to the profession of Mr. Willock’s great-grandfather, who was a carter. The kittiwakes, a type of seabird, may refer to the coastal town in Scotland, Irvine, where Mr. Willock’s family is from. The border is a Scottish method of differencing.

Motto

This Latin phrase means “So that I may serve.”
