The colour green represents the lush grasses at the Nanaimo Golf Club course. The fountains are a reference to the water hazards golfers must negotiate. The representation of the Nanaimo Bastion symbolizes the historic building located in the City of Nanaimo, and emphasizes the golf course’s affinity to the city.
