Symbolism

Arms

The gold and green allude to Saskatchewan, Dr. Reynolds’ birthplace. The green triangular shape represents the Alberni Valley, British Columbia, his home for over 50 years, and also his Irish ancestors. The white falcon is a symbol of his Icelandic forebears.

Crest

The crest symbolises Dr. Reynolds’ profession as a chiropractor with the hands in a typical “adjustment” position. The serpent represents a crooked spine. It is coloured red as a reference to Dr. Reynolds’ nickname, “Red”.
