Per pale Or and Gules on a chevron a thistle between in chief two trefoils and in base a maple leaf all counterchanged;

Crest

A coronet rim set above with maple leaves Or alternating with dogwood flowers Argent seeded Or issuant therefrom a swan wings elevated and addorsed Argent beaked Or;

Symbolism

Arms

The colours, chevron, thistle and clover are taken from arms used by Irish Kingstons and refer to Mr. Kingston’s Irish heritage. The maple leaf honours Canada, his place of birth.

Crest

The dogwoods and maple leaves represent British Columbia, the province where Mr. Kingston works and lives, and Canada. The swan is adapted from the crest used by Irish Kingstons.

Motto

This Latin phrase means “By the grace of God” and has been used by other Kingston armigers.
