Arms
The red and gold colours are the choice of Mr. delMistro. The chequered pattern alludes to the profession of Mr. delMistro's father, a talented mosaic artisan who did restoration work in numerous Catholic churches. Moreover, as a structured and orderly pattern, the chequered background can represent Mr. delMistro's work in public administration and his involvement in an international exchange programme aimed at crime prevention.
Crest
The lion underlines the strength and determination that Mr. delMistro puts into his fight against crime. The laurel branch represents the Italian origins of the delMistro family.
