16 Wing perpetuates the historic badge of RCAF Station Camp Borden. This consists of four eaglets representing the various stages in the birth and evolution of military aviation in Canada: from the Royal Flying Corps to the Canadian Air Force, the Royal Canadian Air Force, up to the present day Air Command of the Canadian Armed Forces. All of these have served at Camp Borden.

Motto

Meaning "To learn, to perfect, to excel".
